I have the short head version of this with a Boogie 2x12 open back cabinet Your Maverick appears to be about the same physical size as the Mesa Boogie Rectoverb I used to own, but the ROV's 50 watts sounded more like 80 Watts and even though it only had a single 12" speaker it was way louder than I ever needed for live performance, although it did sound pretty good at lower levels as well.
